  • 1 package (15.25 oz) chocolate cake mix
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 jar (16 oz) coconut-pecan frosting
  • 1 cup shredded sweetened coconut
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. Bake the chocolate cake according to package instructions.
  3. Allow the cake to cool slightly before using the handle of a wooden spoon to poke holes all over the cake.
  4. Pour the sweetened condensed milk over the cake, ensuring it seeps into the holes. Let it soak in fully.
  5. Spread the coconut-pecan frosting evenly over the cake.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded coconut and chopped pecans over the top for added texture and flavor.
  7. Chill the cake for at least 1 hour before serving to enhance the flavors.
