Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
- 1 package (25 oz) frozen cheese ravioli
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- In the bottom of the crockpot, spread a thin layer of marinara sauce.
- Layer half of the ravioli over the sauce. Top with half of the cooked beef, half of the ricotta cheese, and a layer of mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat the layers: sauce, ravioli, beef, ricotta, and mozzarella cheese.
- Finish with a final layer of sauce and sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours or until ravioli are tender and cheeses are melted.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil if desired.
