Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, chilled and diced
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon cold water
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup mixed berries
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine flour, powdered sugar, and salt. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add cold water gradually to form a dough. Roll out and cut using a tartlet cutter.
- Place dough rounds in tartlet pans and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
- In a saucepan, heat heavy cream, vanilla extract, and granulated sugar until slightly thickened.
- Remove tartlet shells from the oven and let cool. Fill each with cream mixture and top with berries.
- Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving.
