Lemon Garlic Butter Chicken and Green Beans Skillet

Ingredients
For the Crust:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lemon, juiced and zested
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and thyme.
- Melt 2 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for 5-6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add remaining butter, garlic, and green beans. Sauté for 4-5 minutes until beans are crisp-tender.
- Pour in chicken broth and lemon juice, scraping up any browned bits. Simmer for 2 minutes.
- Return chicken to the skillet, spooning sauce over it. Sprinkle with lemon zest and serve immediately.
Notes
