For the Crust:

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 4 cups fresh broccoli florets, steamed
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Arrange steamed broccoli florets in the bottom of the baking dish. Layer cooked chicken over the broccoli.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix together cream of chicken soup, mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, and curry powder. Pour the sauce evenly over the chicken and broccoli.
  4. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the sauce. In a small bowl, combine breadcrumbs and melted butter, then sprinkle over the cheese.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is bubbly. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
