- 1 cup chopped pecans (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter and brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the butterscotch chips and pecans if using.
- Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool in the pan before cutting into bars.
