Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 2 cans (14.5 ounces each) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (15 ounces) kidney beans, drained
- 1 can (15 ounces) black beans, drained
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Transfer the beef to the slow cooker. Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, and green bell pepper.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes, kidney beans, black beans, chili powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper.
- Set the slow cooker to low and cook for 6-8 hours, stirring occasionally to blend the flavors.
- Serve hot with your favorite chili toppings.
