Ingredients
Scale
- 1 3/4 cup apple juice (or water)
- 3-oz package orange gelatin mix, such as Jell-O® brand
Instructions
- Add 1 cup of apple juice (or water) to a small microwave-safe bowl or large liquid measuring cup. Microwave until almost boiling (I heated mine in the microwave for about 90 seconds to get it very hot).
- Add orange gelatin mix to the hot liquid and whisk well to dissolve.
- Add remaining 3/4 cup of apple juice (or water) and whisk to combine.
- Pour mixture into a Ninja Creami pint container. Close the lid and transfer to a level surface in your freezer. Freeze for at least 24 hours.
- Remove pint container and take off the lid. Place pint into the outer bowl and close the outer bowl lid.
- Secure the outer bowl apparatus in the Ninja Creami machine. Press the Sorbet button and allow the cycle to complete.
- Remove the pint and check the texture of the sorbet. If it appears crumbly, you can insert it back into the machine and use the Re-spin button. If it's still crumbly after that, add 1 tablespoon of juice or water to the pint and Re-spin again.
