Tropical Green Smoothie – Refreshing Fruit Smoothie Recipe

A creamy, refreshing tropical green smoothie made with pineapple, mango, banana, and spinach, blended with coconut water for a naturally sweet, vitamin-packed drink.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, packed
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 cup frozen mango chunks
  • 1 ripe banana, sliced and frozen
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt (or coconut yogurt for dairy-free)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup, optional
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes, if needed for thickness

Instructions

  1. Add the spinach and coconut water to the blender first and blend until smooth and no leafy chunks remain.
  2. Add the frozen pineapple, frozen mango, frozen banana, and Greek yogurt to the blender.
  3. Pour in the fresh lime juice and honey, if using.
  4. Blend on high speed for 45-60 seconds, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed, until completely smooth and creamy.
  5. Check the consistency and add ice cubes and blend again if you prefer a thicker, colder smoothie.
  6. Taste and adjust sweetness with a touch more honey if desired.
  7. Pour into two glasses and serve immediately, garnished with a pineapple wedge or mint sprig if desired.

Notes

Use frozen fruit rather than fresh plus ice for the creamiest, most milkshake-like texture. Baby spinach blends more smoothly than mature spinach and has a milder flavor. For a vegan version, swap the Greek yogurt for coconut yogurt or a splash of full-fat coconut milk. Leftover smoothie can be frozen into popsicle molds for a refreshing frozen treat.
