Strawberry Banana Protein Smoothie

A creamy, naturally sweetened strawberry banana protein smoothie blended in minutes for a quick, energizing breakfast or post-workout drink.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 large ripe banana, frozen or fresh
  • 1 scoop (about 30g) vanilla protein powder
  • 1 cup milk of choice (dairy, almond, or oat milk)
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 34 ice cubes (optional, for extra thickness)

Instructions

  1. Add the milk, Greek yogurt, and protein powder to a blender first so the powder blends smoothly without clumping.
  2. Add the frozen strawberries, banana, vanilla extract, and honey if using.
  3. Blend on high for 45-60 seconds, stopping to scrape down the sides if needed, until completely smooth and creamy.
  4. Add ice cubes if you prefer a thicker, colder texture and blend again for 15-20 seconds.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness, adding a touch more honey if desired.
  6. Pour into a tall glass and serve immediately.

Notes

For an extra-thick, milkshake-style smoothie, freeze your banana slices and strawberries ahead of time and skip the ice cubes. Store leftovers in a sealed jar in the fridge for up to 24 hours; shake well before drinking.
