Quick Apple Pie Bread Recipe

  • 1 21 oz can apple filling
  • 1 c butter (at room temperature)
  • 1/2 c white sugar
  • 1/2 c packed dark brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 2 c all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 c raisins
  • 3/4 c chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 9×5 loaf pan.
  2. Break up the apples in the filling. Using a potato masher.
  3. Cream the butter. With white and brown sugars until smooth. Add eggs, apple filling, and vanilla. Mixing well.
  4. Sift together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Then stir into the wet mixture. Fold in raisins. And walnuts.
  5. Pour the batter into the pan. And bake for 60 minutes. Or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Let the bread cool in the pan for 15 minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
