  • 1 cup whole milk

  • 2 cups grated Gruyère cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish with butter and set aside.
  3. Arrange half of the potato slices at the bottom of the dish and season with salt, pepper, and thyme.
  4. In a saucepan, combine cream, milk, and garlic; heat gently until warm.
