For the Crust:
- 12 oz spaghetti
- 8 slices bacon, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, cook chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside, leaving 1 tbsp of bacon grease in the pan.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese, black pepper, and salt until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Add cooked spaghetti and crispy bacon to the skillet. Toss until the pasta is evenly coated with the sauce.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
