The BEST Icing

A smooth, creamy, and perfectly sweet icing that pairs well with cakes, cupcakes, and cookies.

For the Crust:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a large bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy and smooth.
  2. Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing well after each addition.
  3. Pour in the milk, vanilla extract, and salt. Beat until the icing is light and fluffy.
  4. If the icing is too thick, add a little more milk. If too thin, add more powdered sugar.
  5. Use immediately to frost cakes, cupcakes, or cookies.
