Testy Egg Pouch Recipe

A delicious and viral egg pouch recipe, perfect for a quick breakfast or snack.

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheese (such as cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 slice of cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh herbs like parsley or chives
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Crack the eggs into a bowl and whisk them lightly with a fork. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Melt half of the butter in a small non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  3. Pour the egg mixture into the skillet and cook until the edges begin to set.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded cheese, crumbled bacon, and chopped herbs over the center of the eggs.
  5. Use a spatula to gently fold the edges of the omelette towards the center, creating a pouch shape.
  6. Cook for another 30 seconds to a minute, until the cheese is melted and the eggs are almost completely set.
  7. Slide the egg pouch onto a plate and serve hot.

Notes

For a crispy bacon, cook it in a pan beforehand until itโ€™s golden brown. You can customize the filling with your favorite ingredients such as diced ham or chopped spinach.
