For the Crust:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup water
- 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup corn kernels
- 1 cup salsa
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 bag tortilla chips, crushed
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning and water to the beef. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a greased baking dish, layer half of the crushed tortilla chips, followed by the beef mixture, black beans, corn, salsa, and half of the cheese.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients, ending with cheese on top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
