Super Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Deliciously soft and chewy chocolate chip cookies with a perfect balance of sweetness.

For the Crust:

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
  4. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients, then fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  6. Bake for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes, then transfer to wire racks.
