A fruity twist on the classic Italian dessert, featuring layers of ladyfingers, mascarpone cream, and fresh strawberries.

For the Crust:
- 1 lb fresh strawberries, sliced
- 24 ladyfinger cookies
- 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
- 16 oz mascarpone cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a mixing bowl, beat heavy cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold in mascarpone cheese until fully combined.
- Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the cooled coffee and layer them in a 9×9 inch dish.
- Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers, then top with half of the sliced strawberries.
- Repeat layers with remaining ladyfingers, mascarpone mixture, and strawberries.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
- Dust with powdered sugar just before serving.
