Soyabean Lollipop Recipe

A delicious and protein-rich snack made from soyabeans, perfect for parties or as a quick bite.

  • 1 cup soyabeans (boiled and mashed)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped bell pepper
  • 1 minced garlic clove
  • 1 minced ginger piece
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together mashed soyabeans, breadcrumbs, onion, bell pepper, garlic, ginger, lemon juice, garam masala, cumin powder, and salt.
  2. Add the beaten egg to the mixture and mix well until everything is combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into small cylindrical shapes (lollipops).
  4. Heat olive oil in a pan and fry the lollipops until golden brown.
  5. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

Ensure the soyabeans are well mashed to avoid lumps in the mixture. You can also bake the lollipops at 375°F for about 15 minutes if you prefer a healthier option.
