Salted Caramel Pretzel Blondies

A sweet and salty treat combining chewy blondies with crunchy pretzels and gooey caramel.

For the Crust:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups light brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup crushed pretzels
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix melted butter and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
  3. Stir in flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined. Fold in crushed pretzels.
  4. Spread batter evenly in prepared pan. Drizzle caramel sauce over the top and swirl lightly with a knife.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until edges are golden. Sprinkle with sea salt while still warm.
  6. Let cool completely before cutting into squares.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
