For the Crust:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 1/2 cups light brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup crushed pretzels
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix melted butter and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
- Stir in flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined. Fold in crushed pretzels.
- Spread batter evenly in prepared pan. Drizzle caramel sauce over the top and swirl lightly with a knife.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until edges are golden. Sprinkle with sea salt while still warm.
- Let cool completely before cutting into squares.
