Salted Caramel Pretzel Blondies

A deliciously sweet and salty treat combining chewy blondies with gooey caramel and crunchy pretzels.

For the Crust:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups light brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup pretzel twists, roughly crushed
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon flaky sea salt

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and line with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter and brown sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
  3. Stir in flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined. Fold in half of the crushed pretzels.
  4. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish. Drizzle caramel sauce over the top and swirl lightly with a knife.
  5. Sprinkle remaining pretzels and flaky sea salt over the batter.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until edges are golden and center is set. Cool completely before slicing.

Notes
