A fun and colorful twist on classic Rice Krispies Treats using marshmallow Peeps for a festive touch.

For the Crust:

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 10 oz marshmallow Peeps (about 40 Peeps)
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • Cooking spray or extra butter for greasing

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter and set aside.
  2. In a large pot, melt the butter over low heat. Add the Peeps and stir constantly until completely melted and smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract (if using). Quickly fold in the Rice Krispies cereal until evenly coated.
  4. Press the mixture firmly into the prepared baking dish using a greased spatula or your hands.
  5. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
