Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Ice Cream

Creamy peanut butter ice cream loaded with chunks of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, perfect for peanut butter lovers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/4 cups creamy peanut butter
  • 3/4 cup granulated white sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups whole milk
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped chocolate peanut butter cups (8 to 10 regular size PB cups)

Instructions

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, use an electric mixer to combine peanut butter and sugar until smooth.
  2. Add milk and mix on low until sugar is dissolved, about 2 minutes.
  3. Mix in heavy cream and vanilla and beat until well combined and smooth.
  4. Pour mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer’s instructions.
  5. When ice cream is almost set, add chopped peanut butter cups and churn until evenly distributed.
  6. Transfer to a container, cover, and freeze until firm, about 4 hours or overnight.

Notes

For best results, use high-quality peanut butter and fresh Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. Freeze the chopped peanut butter cups before adding to prevent melting. No eggs are used, so there’s no need to heat or chill the mixture before churning.
