Reeses Peanut Butter Earthquake Cake

A decadent chocolate and peanut butter cake with a gooey, earthquake-like center.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Reeses Peanut Butter Cups, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. Prepare the chocolate cake mix according to package instructions and pour into the prepared pan.
  3. In a bowl, mix peanut butter, melted butter, cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of the peanut butter mixture over the cake batter and swirl gently with a knife.
  5. Sprinkle chopped Reeses Peanut Butter Cups and chocolate chips on top.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the cake is set but the center is still slightly gooey.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
