  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 3 cups whipped topping, divided
  • 2 1/2 cups milk
  • 3 small packages vanilla instant pudding mix
  • 1 (15 oz) can pumpkin puree

  • 1/4 cup walnuts or pecans, chopped (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Layer 1: Mix flour, softened butter, and 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans together. Press into a 9×9 inch pan and bake for 15 minutes. Cool completely.
  3. Layer 2: Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and 1 cup whipped topping until smooth. Spread over cooled crust.
  4. Layer 3: In a bowl, combine milk, vanilla pudding mix, pumpkin puree, pumpkin spice, and 1 cup whipped topping. Mix until smooth and pour over cream cheese layer.
  5. Layer 4: Spread remaining 1 cup whipped topping on top and sprinkle with 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours before serving.

Notes

For best results, allow the dessert to chill for several hours or overnight to let the layers set fully. Use fresh whipped topping for a lighter texture. Chopped nuts can be substituted with pecans or walnuts based on preference.
