For the Crust:
- 4 medium ripe tomatoes, diced
- 1/2 white onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a large bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, chopped onion, cilantro, and jalapeño.
- Add the lime juice, salt, and black pepper. Gently toss to combine all ingredients.
- Let the mixture sit for at least 10 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
