Pepperoni Pizza Bombs

Pepperoni Pizza Bombs are bite-sized, cheesy, and loaded with pepperoni, wrapped in soft pizza dough and baked until golden brown. These fun appetizers are perfect for parties or as a snack, and are best served with warm pizza sauce for dipping.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 envelopes pizza dough mix or a double batch of homemade pizza dough
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 cup chunky tomato sauce
  • 1 package mini pepperoni slices
  • ¾ pound whole milk mozzarella cheese, diced
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Mix the pizza dough according to package instructions or your preferred recipe. Divide the dough into 12 equal balls.
  2. Flatten each ball into a circle. Place 1 teaspoon of pizza sauce in the center, followed by a small amount of mozzarella cheese, 3 slices of pepperoni, and a few more pieces of cheese.
  3. Bring the edges of the dough together and pinch to seal, forming a ball.
  4. Place the balls in a baking pan. Mix the minced garlic with melted butter and brush over each ball.
  5. Let the pizza bombs rise for 5 minutes.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Remove from oven and brush with any remaining garlic butter. Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
  8. Serve with extra pizza sauce for dipping.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of Italian seasoning or grated Parmesan before baking. These pizza bombs are best served warm and can be made ahead and reheated. Use any favorite pizza toppings for variety.
