Pepper Jelly Cheese Dip

A creamy, cool, spicy, and sweet cheese dip combining cream cheese, shredded sharp cheddar and pepper jack cheeses, blended with herbs and spices, refrigerated overnight and topped with pepper jelly, perfect for serving with crackers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 4 ounce piece Sharp Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 4 ounce piece Pepper Jack Cheese, shredded
  • 3/4 cup Pepper Jelly (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon dried minced onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 2 tablespoons thinly sliced fresh chives

Instructions

  1. Use freshly shredded sharp cheddar and pepper jack cheeses, grated on the thicker side for better texture.
  2. Soften cream cheese and whip on high speed with a mixer until smooth.
  3. Add all dry seasonings and herbs, except chives, and mix well.
  4. Gradually incorporate shredded cheeses until well blended.
  5. Whip the mixture on high speed for 1 minute until fluffy.
  6. Spread mixture evenly on a dish, cover, and refrigerate overnight.
  7. Before serving, allow the dip to sit at room temperature for about an hour to soften.
  8. Spread pepper jelly evenly over the top of the dip.
  9. Sprinkle fresh chives on top and serve with buttery round crackers.

Notes

You can adjust the amount of pepper jelly to your taste. Thicker shredded cheese enhances texture. This dip is best refrigerated overnight to meld flavors. Serve with crackers or veggies for scooping.
