Pecan Pie Brownies

A decadent fusion of rich chocolate brownies and classic pecan pie filling.

For the Crust:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix melted butter, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Stir in flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined. Spread batter into prepared pan.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, and cinnamon. Spoon over brownie batter.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.
  6. Cool completely before cutting into squares.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
