For the Crust:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup corn syrup
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix melted butter, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- Stir in flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined. Spread batter into prepared pan.
- In a separate bowl, combine pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, and cinnamon. Spoon over brownie batter.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.
- Cool completely before cutting into squares.
