For the Crust:
- 1 pre-made flatbread or pizza dough
- 1 ripe pear, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
- 1/4 cup walnuts, roughly chopped
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup arugula (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the flatbread or rolled-out pizza dough on a baking sheet.
- Brush the flatbread with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt and black pepper.
- Arrange the thinly sliced pear on top of the flatbread, then sprinkle with Gorgonzola cheese and chopped walnuts.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the oven and drizzle with honey. Garnish with arugula if desired.
- Slice and serve warm.
