A delicious and elegant flatbread topped with sweet pears, tangy Gorgonzola cheese, and crunchy walnuts.

For the Crust:

  • 1 pre-made flatbread or pizza dough
  • 1 ripe pear, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, roughly chopped
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup arugula (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the flatbread or rolled-out pizza dough on a baking sheet.
  2. Brush the flatbread with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt and black pepper.
  3. Arrange the thinly sliced pear on top of the flatbread, then sprinkle with Gorgonzola cheese and chopped walnuts.
  4. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted.
  5. Remove from the oven and drizzle with honey. Garnish with arugula if desired.
  6. Slice and serve warm.

Notes
