Peanut Butter Blossoms

Description

Classic holiday cookies featuring a soft peanut butter cookie base topped with a chocolate candy kiss.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Additional sugar for rolling
  • 48 milk chocolate candy kisses, unwrapped

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix peanut butter, 1 cup sugar, egg, and vanilla until well combined.
  3. Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Roll each ball in additional sugar and place on prepared baking sheets.
  4. Bake for 8-10 minutes until cookies are set and lightly cracked. Immediately press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie. Allow to cool completely on wire racks.

Notes
