  1. In a large bowl, mix together peanut butter, softened margarine or butter, and powdered sugar until smooth.
  2. Stir in the Rice Krispies cereal until evenly coated.
  3. Shape the mixture into small balls and place them on wax paper-lined baking sheets.
  4. Melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  5. Dip each peanut butter ball into the melted chocolate to coat completely, then return to the wax paper.
  6. Refrigerate the coated balls until the chocolate is set, about 30 minutes.
