Parmesan Baked Pork Chops

Juicy pork chops coated in a crispy parmesan and breadcrumb crust, baked to perfection.

For the Crust:

  • 4 boneless pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another bowl, beat the egg. Dip each pork chop into the egg, then coat with the parmesan mixture, pressing lightly to adhere.
  4. Place the coated pork chops on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the pork reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  6. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
