Author:Dorothy Miler
Ingredients
Scale
For the Crust:
1 lb ground beef
8 oz pasta (penne or fettuccine)
3 cups beef broth
1 cup heavy cream
4 cloves garlic (minced)
4 tbsp butter
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
In a large pot or deep skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain excess fat if needed.
Stir in Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
Add uncooked pasta and beef broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer. Cover and cook for 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Simmer for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
