For the Crust:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a large pot or Dutch oven, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- Add butter and minced garlic to the pot, sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in beef broth, heavy cream, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
- Break fettuccine in half and add to the pot, ensuring it’s submerged in the liquid.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer. Cover and cook for 15-18 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and sauce has thickened.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
