Nacho Cheese Beef Wrap

A flavorful wrap combining seasoned ground beef, nacho cheese sauce, vegetables, sour cream, and crispy crushed Doritos, all wrapped in a flour tortilla and toasted until crispy.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef, lean
  • 1 cup Nacho Cheese Sauce
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 can Rotel (green chilis with diced tomatoes)
  • ½ cup chopped green peppers
  • ½ cup diced onions
  • 1 packet taco seasoning mix
  • Crushed Doritos, Nacho Cheese flavored
  • 4 large flour tortilla wraps
  • Shredded lettuce (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, crumble and brown the ground beef over medium heat. Cook thoroughly and drain excess fat.
  2. Add the diced onions and chopped green peppers to the beef and sauté for about 4 minutes until softened.
  3. Stir in the taco seasoning mix and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Add the can of Rotel and the nacho cheese sauce to the beef mixture and stir well to combine.
  5. Lay four large flour tortillas on the counter. Spread a layer of nacho cheese sauce down the center of each tortilla.
  6. Top the cheese layer with the meat mixture, sour cream, additional onions, peppers, and a generous amount of crushed Doritos.
  7. Optionally add shredded lettuce for extra crunch.
  8. Fold in the sides of each tortilla and roll up like a burrito.
  9. Heat a skillet on medium heat and place the wraps in the skillet.
  10. Toast the wraps until crispy and golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  11. Serve immediately and enjoy.

Notes

1. Adjust the level of crushed Doritos to your preferred crunchiness.
2. Substitute sour cream with Greek yogurt for a lighter option.
3. You can add jalapeños or hot sauce for extra spiciness if desired.
