Deliciously Moist Orange Loaf Cake Recipe You Can’t Resist

  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup plain full-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • icing sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease and flour an 8.5 x 4.5 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, combine yogurt, sugar, eggs, orange zest, orange juice, and vanilla. Whisk in the olive oil.
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the yogurt mixture and stir to combine. Do not over-mix.
  5. Pour the batter into the loaf pan and bake in the preheated oven for 50-55 minutes until the top is deep golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Let cool in the pan for about 20 minutes and then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
