Million Dollar Ravioli Casserole

A creamy, cheesy baked casserole combining frozen cheese ravioli with a rich meat sauce and a flavorful cheese mixture, perfect for a comforting dinner.

  • 1 lb Italian sausage
  • 1 (28 oz) jar spaghetti or marinara sauce
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 (25 oz) package frozen cheese ravioli
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and spray a 9×13 inch casserole dish with cooking spray.
  2. In a large skillet, brown Italian sausage over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in spaghetti or marinara sauce, season with salt and pepper, and simmer briefly. Remove from heat and set aside.
  4. In a large bowl, combine cottage cheese, softened cream cheese, sour cream, Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, and garlic powder until well mixed.
  5. Add frozen ravioli to the cheese mixture and gently toss to coat evenly.
  6. Spread the ravioli and cheese mixture evenly into the prepared casserole dish.
  7. Pour the meat sauce evenly over the ravioli layer.
  8. Top the casserole with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  9. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes until bubbly and the cheese is melted and golden.
  10. Allow to cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.

Notes

Can be made ahead and refrigerated before baking. Substitute ground beef for Italian sausage if desired. Serve with a simple salad or garlic bread.
