Easy 6-Ingredient Maple Dijon Pork Chops

Tender pork chops with a caramelized crust and a perfect balance of sweet maple syrup and sharp Dijon mustard, enhanced with garlic and fresh thyme for full-bodied flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 bone-in pork chops
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Season pork chops with salt and pepper, then sear in the skillet until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  4. Remove skillet from heat. In a small bowl, mix maple syrup, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, and thyme.
  5. Brush the maple Dijon mixture over the pork chops.
  6. Transfer skillet to the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes or until pork chops reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  7. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Bone-in pork chops help retain moisture and cook more evenly, but boneless can be used. The maple syrup caramelizes beautifully, creating a flavorful crust while keeping the meat tender inside.
