No Yeast Homemade Pizza

A simple homemade pizza recipe without yeast and oven, using basic ingredients for a soft dough and delicious topping, perfect for quick and easy preparation at home.

  • 1 and 1/2 cups maida (refined flour) or atta (wheat flour)
  • 1/4 cup curd
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 teaspoons refined oil
  • Water (as needed for kneading)
  • 1 teaspoon refined oil (for dough finishing)
  • Small pieces of chicken (optional topping)
  • Onions (as topping)
  • Pizza sauce
  • Grated cheese
  • Mixed vegetables (optional topping)
  • Seasonings like oregano, chili flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, add 1 and 1/2 cups of maida or atta.
  2. Make a small hole in the middle, add 1/4 cup curd, 1 teaspoon sugar, salt to taste, and 2 teaspoons refined oil.
  3. Mix all ingredients well.
  4. Gradually add water in small quantities and knead to form a soft dough.
  5. Knead for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  6. Add 1 teaspoon refined oil and knead for another 2 minutes.
  7. Make a dough ball, cover it and keep aside for 30 minutes.
  8. Roll out the dough to desired pizza base size.
  9. Spread pizza sauce evenly over the base.
  10. Add toppings like small chicken pieces, onions, mixed vegetables, and season with oregano or chili flakes.
  11. Sprinkle grated cheese generously over the toppings.
  12. Cook on a griddle or pan over low heat with a lid on until the base is cooked and cheese melts, about 10-15 minutes.
  13. Serve hot.

Notes

This pizza recipe does not require yeast or an oven, making it quick and easy to prepare at home. Using curd helps to leaven the dough naturally for softness. Adjust toppings as per preference, and cook over low heat to avoid burning the base.
