Deliciously fudgy brownie cookies with a crackly top and chewy center.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until well combined. Add eggs and vanilla, stirring until smooth.
  4. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Stir in chocolate chips.
  5. Drop tablespoon-sized dough portions onto the baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the tops are crackled. Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
