A delicious and hearty loaded nachos recipe perfect for game day, featuring seasoned ground beef, melted cheese, jalapeños, and fresh toppings.

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning mix
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 bag tortilla chips (about 12 ounces)
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced jalapeños
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup guacamole
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add taco seasoning mix and water to the beef. Stir and simmer for 3-5 minutes until thickened.
  4. Spread tortilla chips evenly on a large baking sheet.
  5. Sprinkle cooked ground beef evenly over the chips.
  6. Top with shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses.
  7. Add sliced jalapeños, diced tomatoes, and black olives evenly over the cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Remove from oven and sprinkle with chopped green onions and cilantro.
  10. Serve immediately with dollops of sour cream and guacamole on the side.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a drizzle of hot sauce or a squeeze of fresh lime juice before serving. You can customize toppings based on your preference, such as adding black beans or corn.
