A zesty twist on the classic Rice Krispie Treats with a refreshing lemon flavor.

For the Crust:
- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 10 oz marshmallows
- 2 tbsp lemon zest
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and set aside.
- In a large pot, melt the butter over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
- Remove from heat and stir in lemon zest, lemon juice, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
- Add Rice Krispies cereal and gently fold until evenly coated with the marshmallow mixture.
- Press the mixture firmly into the prepared baking dish using a greased spatula or wax paper.
- Let cool completely before cutting into squares.
