Instant Fruit Rabdi in Minutes! Custard Fruit Salad Recipe

A quick and delicious Instant Fruit Rabdi made in minutes combining rich custard with fresh fruit salad, perfect for a refreshing dessert.

  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons custard powder
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 1/4 cup chopped apple
  • 1/4 cup chopped banana
  • 1/4 cup chopped pineapple
  • 1/4 cup chopped papaya
  • 1/4 cup chopped grapes
  • 2 tablespoons chopped nuts (almonds, pistachios)
  • 1 teaspoon rose water (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix custard powder with 1/4 cup cold milk to make a smooth paste.
  2. Boil the remaining milk in a pan and add sugar. Stir till sugar dissolves.
  3. Slowly add the custard paste to the boiling milk, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
  4. Cook on low heat until mixture thickens to a creamy consistency, about 3-5 minutes.
  5. Add cardamom powder and rose water, stir well.
  6. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  7. Add chopped fruits and nuts to the custard mixture and mix gently.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use fresh, seasonal fruits for best taste. Adjust sugar to your preference. For a richer version, use full cream milk. Add nuts just before serving to retain their crunch.
