Honey Stir Fry

A quick and flavorful stir fry with a sweet and savory honey glaze, perfect for a weeknight dinner.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced into strips
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Cooked rice for serving

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add chicken strips and cook until no longer pink, about 5-6 minutes.
  3. Add garlic and ginger, stir for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add mixed vegetables and stir fry for 4-5 minutes until crisp-tender.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, and sesame oil.
  6. Pour sauce over the stir fry, toss to coat, and cook for 2 more minutes until glazed.
  7. Serve immediately over cooked rice.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
