Honey Garlic Chicken Thighs

Tender and flavorful chicken thighs coated in a sweet and tangy honey garlic sauce, baked to perfection for an easy weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, mix flour and paprika.
  3. Coat chicken thighs in the flour mixture and place in a greased or foil-lined baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle each thigh with salt and pepper.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic.
  6. Pour the sauce evenly over the chicken, flipping the thighs once or twice to coat thoroughly.
  7. Sprinkle crushed red pepper flakes over the chicken if using.
  8. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  9. Remove foil and bake uncovered for an additional 15 minutes until chicken is cooked through and sauce is bubbly.
  10. Serve hot with rice or vegetables, optionally spooning extra sauce over the top.

Notes

The crushed red pepper flakes add a spicy kick but can be omitted for a milder flavor. This dish pairs well with basmati rice, mashed potatoes, or steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
