Homemade Rice Pudding

A creamy and comforting rice pudding made with simple ingredients.

For the Crust:

  • 1 cup white rice
  • 4 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup raisins (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine rice, milk, sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce to a simmer. Stir frequently to prevent sticking.
  3. Cook for 25-30 minutes until rice is tender and mixture thickens. Stir in vanilla and raisins (if using) before serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
