Homemade Honey Mustard

A creamy, sweet, and tangy homemade honey mustard sauce made with simple ingredients. Perfect for dipping, dressing, or as a sandwich spread.

  • 1/3 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice or white vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the Dijon mustard, honey, mayonnaise, lemon juice (or vinegar), and cayenne pepper (if using).
  2. Whisk until smooth and well blended.
  3. Taste and adjust sweetness or tanginess as desired. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for mayonnaise. Add a pinch of garlic powder or paprika for extra flavor. This sauce keeps well in the fridge for up to 1 week.
