A heavenly layered cake with a creamy filling and fluffy texture that lives up to its name.

For the Crust:

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 (3.4 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 (8 oz) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 (21 oz) can cherry pie filling

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Prepare the yellow cake mix according to package directions and bake in a 9×13-inch pan. Allow to cool completely.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the pudding mix and cold milk until thickened. Fold in the whipped topping.
  3. Spread the pudding mixture evenly over the cooled cake.
  4. Top with cherry pie filling, spreading it to cover the entire surface.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow flavors to meld.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
