- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 (3.4 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix
- 2 cups cold milk
- 1 (8 oz) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 1 (21 oz) can cherry pie filling
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Prepare the yellow cake mix according to package directions and bake in a 9×13-inch pan. Allow to cool completely.
- In a bowl, whisk together the pudding mix and cold milk until thickened. Fold in the whipped topping.
- Spread the pudding mixture evenly over the cooled cake.
- Top with cherry pie filling, spreading it to cover the entire surface.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow flavors to meld.
