Ground Beef Stroganoff – Cooking Up Memories

A comforting and creamy ground beef stroganoff that’s quick to make and full of flavor.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 8 oz egg noodles, cooked
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add butter, onions, garlic, and mushrooms. Cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Reduce heat to low and stir in sour cream until well combined. Do not boil.
  5. Serve over cooked egg noodles and season with salt and pepper to taste.
